Scientifically formulated, GINGIVAL-Pro-TECH® balm is a natural balm containing a synergy of plant extracts selected for their protective and anti-inflammatory properties to provide complete care for the oral mucosa.
GINGIVAL-Pro-TECH® balm contains active extracts of Pomegranate (Punica granatum fruit extract), Prickly pear (Opuntia ficus-indica extract), Purslane (Portulaca oleracea extract), Tahitian Vanilla (Vanilla x tahitensis extract) and Navelwort (Umbilicus rupestris leaf extract), developed by TEXINFINE Laboratories.

Methodology: An assessment of any discomfort or clinical signs was carried out, along with a questionnaire on cosmetic qualities and effectiveness.
Results: The results highlighted VERY GOOD oral acceptability of GINGIVAL-Pro-TECH® balm after repeated applications under normal conditions of use. The sensory properties and efficacy of GINGIVAL-Pro-TECH® balm were also rated as VERY GOOD (100% average satisfaction*). Among the cohort of 20 people, no one selected the categories ‘Strongly disagree’ and ‘Disagree’.

Gum health is an essential part of oral well-being, with inflammation, bleeding and microbial infections among the most common problems affecting the gums.
The oral mucosa acts as a permeability barrier, functioning as a filter whose effectiveness decreases during pathological and chronic processes. Maintaining the integrity of this barrier is essential for oral health and for the body in general. Any physical (temperature changes, brushing, etc.), biological (bacterial, viral, fungal) or chemical aggression can alter its structure and physiology, thereby jeopardising its constitutional and functional integrity. Even minor damage can create conditions conducive to dysfunction, leading to periodontal destruction. It is therefore important to preserve and protect the gingival mucosa.
In recent years, plant extracts have attracted growing interest as natural bioactive agents capable of protecting gum tissue through multiple mechanisms. They offer an effective alternative to chemical oral care agents such as chlorhexidine or synthetic antimicrobials, which are often associated with undesirable side effects such as staining, taste alteration or mucosal irritation.
Many plant extracts contain flavonoids, phenolic acids, tannins and terpenoids, which modulate inflammatory pathways by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6), slowing down cyclooxygenase (COX) and nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) enzymes, or reducing oxidative stress at the cellular level. Other plant extracts rich in polyphenols, vitamins and carotenoids help neutralise free radicals, protect gingival cells (such as fibroblasts and keratinocytes) and promote tissue regeneration and healing.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Use twice daily, after each brushing. Encourage the balm to penetrate by gently massaging the gums with your index finger. Do not rinse. Repeat application as needed.
Precautions for use: Do not swallow. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
